The Difference Between a Christian, and A Born Again Christian
John 3:3 Jesus answered him, “Truly, truly, I say to you, unless one is born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God.”
There is a major difference between Christians and Born-Again Christians. A Christian in my eyes is somebody brought up in the church. They attend church once a week, sing songs, dress up for church, eat out at their favorite restaurant, and then forget about God until next service.
A Born-Again Christian is a man or woman who has been brought to their lowest point. They have felt overwhelming fear and hopelessness. And in deep despair, called out to God. God works with those who cry out to Him with righteous intention. I can tell you, I’ve felt God. I feel God everyday. But this is not by accident. I’ve dedicated my life to him.
A true Born-Again Christian is repulsed by sin. One will do their best to curb sin, to remove it from their life, because sin disconnects one from God. When you have felt the overwhelming grace and power of God, going back to your old ways will only cause anxiety and fear.
When one has truly contemplated eternity, one will understand why a Good, Almighty God is so essential, as well as why you would need him on your side. God, Jesus Christ is the only one who can save us from the tyranny and villainy of this world.
Call out to God, ask for forgiveness, and change. God will not lose a single sheep.
